We have no idea what you're talking about on the basis of that information. What flange for where, and for what model/year?

Are you talking about a hub, about the flange that sits on the nose of the rear diff, what?

In an engineering context, of course. In an Impreza context, I haven't the slightest idea what specific part you're talking about. There are a number of bits that have flanges on them, but there isn't a standalone part that would be referred to as a flange.

Who has told you you need a "drive flange" and where did they think it is?

Chances are they're referring to something we would use another name for. Or it could be that you've been fed a quality line of sh*t. The more information you give us, the easier it should be to work out what you're on about.

Going back to my noise thread, the noise I was getting from the front of the car..

I thought it sounded like the drivers side, but the garage said its the passenger side drive flange .. somewhere near the bearing ??

Grade A subaru knew what I was talking about based on me asking about Drive flanges ...

I have no idea what it is..
