Do these come standard on version 3 sti's?i am getting it mapped up after my rebuild...if i havent got this,isit recomended and how would it help?

 

Not sure about it being standard, but the 3 port boost solenoid givesmore accurate control over the boost level and is quicker acting than the standard item.

 

One of the techie nerds will be along shortly I don't think it's standard on any Scoobs ... tends to get added as a mod.

thought so...im gettin my car mapped after rebuild fuel rails and injectors and didnt no weather to change to a 3port...didnt no if i had it lol

 

3 ports are standard on the v1/2 cars but not on the v3/4 cars.

as stated above a 3 port is better, i have a 3 port on my v4 car (it's from the early classic) fits no problem but needs the car mapped to work properly.

 

I use a prodrive 3 port solenoid on my wrx bugeye. huge difference in wastegate duty cycles (at least 30% down) and finally I can keep proper pressure in all gears. its a must upgrade
