Default throttle body coolant

any info why the throttle body needs hot coolant flowing through it when really you need cool air temps going into the engine ?

is it worth bypasing if so are there any advantages or disadvantages ??

ive read on some american forums its for the colder climate or something and a few people bypass it i was goin to do the same to mine when i get chance... but wait till some one that knows a bit more then me just in case im wrong lol

have been running mine with the bypass for a few months now. all is good, and im sure it helps inlet temps stay cooler
