Default Alarm help

Hi all
I need some help with choosing an alarm for me scooby. I've been looking at the viper v480 with a pager fob but have read that the fob eats batteries. I'm looking at spending around 250 to 300. And wanted to know if anyone could recomend this one or any others that will do the job. Will need to work with my turbo timer.

Thanks liam
