Default Mapping??

Merry xmas to all.
just asking what re mapping means,new to all this scooby lingo so would be interested in what it is,what you achive by having it done and also what does it cost.
Also been quoted £225 for supply and fit of new rad(got small leak at top),is this a fair price(scoobyclinic chesterfield quote).

Remapping in the simplest terms is by means of reprogramming the the cars computer.

in other words it allows the car to make the most benifit from having mods.

IE front mount intercooler lowers charge tempretures, to make the most of the u change the fuelling in the cars programming be remapping.

it has many benefits usually more power, more response and genrally a better car all around.

And yes, that's a fair price, the Clinic are reputable and a good set of guys.

I'd be tempted to buy an alloy radiator and fit it myself to save labour costs
