Quick question:Classic sidelights all the same?

I have a cracked lens on my MY00 and know of a MY95 wagon at a local yard, will the side light be a straight swap?

AFAIK, yes, but why not whip the old one off and take it with you? They take about 2 minutes to remove, cross-head screwdriver,

Then pull straight towards you.

I think yours will be crystal clear whereas the 95 will just be clear.
