Default car broken into?

Had my classic wrx broken into, they have somehow got the door unlocked without damaging anything, and then unscrewed the panel under steering column , as far as i can tell no wires have been cut or damage done ,
the car has a hawk alarm which has gone off , but couldn't of heard it with all the wind/rain , also i had the ecu indoors at the time , i just want to know how they got into it , as nothing is damaged ?, it seems the alarm had gone off and they've left it or been disturbed as i have dogs , its weird i live quite out the way and its only a 95 wrx so not worth much really , am now parking other cars in front of it.

just posting this up to a warning to other members , I'm in the ashford , kent area

quite easy really, bend the door/glass away from the rubber enough to unlatch the lock, thats the problem with frameless cars/doors
