Question

Is it an easy job to remove detachable towbar from car. If easy job I want to take it off and sell it. If not I'll leave it on.

I have taken one of these off before, Its much easier if you take off the back bumper first and then simply undo all the bolts

Just remembered now - the bumper bolts are replaced by the ones that come with the towbar!!

Refit the originals - if you have them or get them from your friendy Subaru dealer

You are more likely to do more damage to the car if you are hit from behind if you have a tow bar fitted , the bumper is ment to cusion the impact but it cant with a tow bar fitted so the full force of the inpact is put straight through the tow bar to your boot floor pushing it up /forward

If you want to sell the tow bar perhaps you could drive it over to me and I will have it professionaly removed for you - and buy it from you as well.

Mail me if your interested.
