Your biggest mod will be an aftermarket ecu and remap, the rest of the car should be ok, though what are you expecting from a vf30?

If you were going from a td04 then its a good upgrade but where you are then the gains will be fairly low unless your desperate for a few more bhp.

Would of thought a vf34/35 would be the best one to go for if you reall want a change plus if you fitted a new turbo you would need a remap so might as well get the most out of it and get the most gains on standard supporting mods, you may need bigger injectors to if not a fuel pressure reg.

To my knowledge the vf35 is the uk version of the vf30

vf30 very capable turbo and achieved 353bhp on my old car with 550 injectors air filter and remap

Nope - different turbos - however most of vf series are quite similar.
vf30 is slightly bigger, rather more like vf34 but the vf34 is on ball bearing.

anyway should be quite nice turbo I guess

cheers
