Default HT Autos splitter

I have one of these on my car and its all split, I was thinking of fibreglassing it from behind, would the resin melt it do you think?

Is it worth the time money and effort, I think there only about £90.00 ish to buy new.

It is kinda worth the time and effort cos I can't be forking out £90+ every time it cracks. I am very careful about where I drive to avoid damage but as you know, every now and then you get caught out.

An email to HT Autos may well be worth while but they'll probably want to sell me a new one!

Well I popped into Halfords this morning and got some very fine alu mesh and some fibreglass paste. I'll stick it all in from behind and neatly glue the cracks. If it works, happy days. If not, it will be a new one.

Did this to my Scott Lowe splitter when it cracked, 3 layers from behind over a few nights and was stronger than before, then filled the front as it was a little chipped, rubbed down and sprayed with Halfords black bumper spray, really pleased with the result.

Used this
Fastglass Glass Fibre Kit (JNR) from Halfords Price £8.49
