Should I worry about rust around the Windscreen?
Hello,
Looking to buy a Classic Subaru Impreza Wagon (1999-2001), but the ones I've seen have got rust around the windscreen. Some worth than others.
Is this a common problem?
Is this just caused by a carelessly fitted new windscreen?
Is the rust just likely to be cosmetic? Is it simple enough to fix?
Cheers.

you can compromise the rear arch press and water gets in. Earlier cars had no arch rubbers either
Many imports come to the UK without proper undersealing, not that this affects the roof
