he had no dv if it chattered. that noise was the turbo stalling.

its had DV delete, which means its prob been remapped, which is why you prop could not keep up!

take ya bailey off and bung up the hole... yours will then chatter!

td turbo`s (which is what you will have if standerd) are apparently ok for it but im not going to say go and do it.

You will need a Aftermarket air filter K&N/Apexi or such like to hear it properly, and you will prob **** up your MAF eventually. but it will make the noise you want.

VF series turbo on a 97 WRX I think.

No dump valve on mine at the moment, and still undecided.

Probably end up going back to a re-circ at this rate.

Or do what i did with my bailey dv,take it apart and put a couple of thick washers under the spring, lube it with some 2 in 1 oil while apart just to give it a little service whichs keeps it operating nice,Put it back together and fit back on the car.You will now have the best of both worlds as the valve will only dump under high load when you wont here the chatter anyway, but under normal and low down power the valve will not dump and give you the fluttering/chattering sound you desire, known as turbo stall, works a treat and sounds sweet.

That sounds fun, What the implications on the turbo if you let it stall a lot?

I thinks its a tricky one to answer mate,i suppose its like saying what are the implications on the turbo if you boost the living sh*t out of it all the time.some will say the turbo wont last and some will say it wont bother it at all, there`s also talk of Td turbos being stronger than the vf range for example and one thing or another.i have done a lot of research and have been reading all i can about this and still havn`t got a deffinative answer from any source.im no expert on the subject or on any other for that matter,so i would never give advice thats not backed up and or proven, each to there own i say and do what you think is best for you.
