Hi all,

anyone ever used a cobra exhaust?
They are on eBay for £170 with choice of 3" pipe and many tail pipe designs.

 

i have one fitted to my scooby 5 inch tail pipe with a straight centre.very loud but i have bung when i go on long drives.

was selling it few weeks ago

 

What do you think of it? I have a ninja 2 on my 2.5 sti and it seems rather quite.

you can get a better price direct from them as a sc member.

i have a 3" system on my classic it's quite loud but i think it sounds very good.

 

Do they sound louder than a ninja 2?

When you say "are the 2.5 not as loud?" do you mean the 2.5 size engine?or 2.5 inch bore of the exhaust?

if you mean the engine then i'm not sure but if you De-cat then it will be louder
also you can get 2.5 and 3 inch bore pipework of the backbox and yes the 3inch is louder than the 2.5 inch.

lol I ment 2.5 engine. Classics etc always seem to sound a lot different than hawkeye etc.

 

i just fitted one of these cobra sport systems on my classic, its very loud compared to the standard factory exhaust it came with, sounds like a scooby should do now, i havent had the radio on for a week just listening to the exhaust note lol

 

I've got a full 3" bore system on my classic with sports cat downpipe and angled slash cut 4.5" tail. It looks frickin awesome and is loud, but not as loud as the blitz nur spec, which is nice lol

Had a bit of a nightmare with the ordering but got there in the end

I've got a almost new 5" tailpipe with 3" bore for sale if anyone is interested?

mine is fully de catted which made it only slightly louder but it pops really well and throws some really good flames out. only wanting to sell so i can get a angled tailpipe
