Default Forester/impreza exhausts the same?

I have recently swapped my imprezza turbo for an N/A forester.
It is very likely I will be selling the forester on but it has a big loud stainless on it.
This would be cool on a turbo imprezza Im certain but on a N/A farmers wife car it isnt going to be a selling point I doubt.
Im thinking if they are swappable it shouldnt be to hard finding someone who wants a sports exhaust on their Imprezza who would swap for a oem system.

I wouldnt know Greg, hence the post lol, but my guess is with an 04 imprezza compared to a 98 forester we might be pushing it.

I am sure someone on here will know whats what though...

Can you guys have a look at this and see what you think?
Its a 2" pipe throughout, stainless from cat back. Joins just after the cat (join is blowing a bit but think that may be just badly fitted)
Does it look compatible with an imprezza?

Forester exhausts tend to have a longer tailpipe to clear their deeper rear bumpers.
It will stick out too much on an Impreza, otherwise it will match up to the all the hangers for same age cars.

Try selling it on Europe - Subaru Forester Owners Forum

See I am under the impression that this was an Imprezza exhaust refitted to a Forester. It falls just short of the bumper edge which seems to back up your statement. This was why I thought it would be better to do a swap on here.

I will go and have a nose on the Forester forum as well though, ta.

That tail pipe looks quite long, but it might just be the perspective.

It doesnt quite reach the edge of the bumper so its defo a bit short for the forester.
