Registration date?
just looking at the v5 for my car can anyone explain why the dates are as follows
Date of first registration 30/09/2006
Date of first registration in the uk 20/11/2008
the car is a my97.

it is an import but i thought the first date of registration should still be in 1997 sometime
the guy i bought it off told me he brought it from japan. Only got his word for that though

dependant on what it is they can be brought in from japan via somewhere else> i dont know the full details but i seem to remember it has something to do with the sva test and having a model report
