Does yours have a cubby hole in the top of the centre of the dash? if so it's likely to be a version 4.

A version 3 has a pre facelift dash which is the biggest givaway, and its probably been registered "late" like some of these dealers do....
To the op, pop your bonnet, if the coil pack is in the centre of your engine then its a version 4, if its off set to the passenger side then its a version 5 (as long as the engine has not been changed) plus your momo steering wheel should have the shiny badge in the middle of it, and your car will have the crystal lights.

My car does not have the centre pod on the dash which I have seen on some cars. It has the 3 plug ECU which means it is a V3 or 4. It does have the coil pack in the centre of the inlet??

Don't confuse when it is built from when it is first reditered over here. My car was an STiIV registered in November 1998. Check the date on the seat belt label then apply the dates in post # 2.
