Prodrive Performance Pack (PPP) ECU for Subaru Impreza on eBay (end time 11-Oct-09 17:58:28 BST)

£510 with 7 hours to go. Surely it's not worth that much.

I can understand people getting excited over the non mappable MY97/98 Prodrive ecu's which sell for around £200 (with their immobiser box and transponder) but....The later ECU's are mappable. Surely it is more cost effective to have the existing ECU remapped at this price, accounting for any mods on the car. The Prodrive map restricts you to a certain hardware setup.

There must be a reason but I can't see it....

 

hmm the only two things I can think of are either his friends are bidding it up or some people are not reading what it says and think they are getting the whole PPP set up at an absolute bargain price and not just the ecu

 

Yeah, re read it and can see possible confusion. Still expensive for the whole pack tho!
