Default ScanGauge 2 on Jdm

Hi All
I Bought a ScanGauge 2 today and i can’t seem to get it to stay connected to my motor? When i do get some joy it only reads volts and then turns off after 15secs??
I have gone through all the different modes and I'm getting fed up now, i thought i was meant to be plug and play lol....
Anyone else had any problems connecting there's?
Cheers

Mines connected on a UK STi and no problems. Sits on top of the steering column and only ever cuts off when i'm giving the car the beans. Comes back on though when i press the red button

Is the engine running whilst the Scangauge is plugged in? If not then it will only stay on for 15 secs.

Have you tried typing in the word "Scangauge" in the search facility? That might give you a few pointers. Mine works great but as with the others it's in an STi type UK. Not much help am I?
