Had my 96 wrx ra for a couple of months now and it has only done about 10 miles in that time for testing because i have been sorting out the body work, interior etc.
I am onto the oil changes and filters etc now.
What i want to know is, before i touch the box and do the oil change I thought i had a gearbox oil leak as there is a small patch under the car but this only seems to get worse after it has been warmed up prior to driving or when it has been parked after driving.
I checked the oil which is twice the distance up the dip stick than it should be.
Therefore way too much oil in it.
would this patch on the floor be oil coming up the dipstick nozzle because it is too full???
