Default Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta

Just had 4 of these fitted to my MY05 STI this week, what a set tyres.

If anyone is in the market for new rubber, I would strongly recommend these. The grip is excellent and the turn in is suburb, they are easily as good as RE070 and considerably cheaper as well.

Lots of people are rating these at the moment, under £100 a corner I believe too on 18's.

Totally agree had 4 on my STi a few weeks ago, way way better than the T1Rs that were on there before. And a bargain price from Camskill

On my second set after a brief spell with some RE070, which I didnt particularly like. Love the Vredestein, excellent in pretty much every way, look cool and are cheap!

Don't like the tread pattern - looks to me like half of it is air.

Who gives a toss what the tread pattern looks like as long as the tyres perform well and IMO vredesteins are the best performing tyre on the market for all weather

Naah, Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymetrics are the best...

Well, IMHO, of course. Fantastic all weather tyre that has never lost grip under any stress. I've had them for 3 months now.

have you tried the Vredesteins mate as a lot of people are rating them above the Goodyears having tried both

I agree, do people actually base tyre choice on what the tread pattern looks like
