Default turbo

Right iv got a 53plate wrx, what turbo does it have and what would be a wicked upgrade for it to run 350-450bhp

You have a TD04L turbo........... for "wicked" upgrades I'd have a read of Andy Forrest's website...

Seriously, if your after an average of 400bhp just sell the wrx and buy an STI, it will save you a fortune in the long run, and here is why!
Clutch will need uprating, gearbox will need uprating when (not if) it goes, brakes will need uprating, engine will seriously need uprating (your getting the general idea?
On a similar aged STI you wont need to uprate those parts, your probably looking at 6-7k to get it upto that standard, for about 2-3k more thats STI money.
And please dont say you cannot get insured on an STI, if you want 350-450bhp thats going to rob you rotten from an insurance co!
