I DO QUOTE TO ANYONE WHO IS THINKING OF HAVING ANY WORK DONE OR BUYING ANY REPLACEMENT PARTS TO STAY WELL CLEAR. ALL PARTS ARE QUOTED AS RECONDITIONED AND ARE PROVEN ON MY CAR TO NOT BE AND ARE EITHER SECOND HAND STRAIGHT FROM A SCRAPPER OR FAULTY SOLD AS RE CON.

MY CAR HAD A NEW SUPPOSEDLY RECON ENGINE FITTED BY THESE PEOPLE TO WHICH THE HEAD GASKET WENT ON IT IN LESS THAN A WEEK . MANY PARTS WERE FITTED WRONGLY AND MANY BITS WERE MISSING AND BODGED ON CLOSE EXAMINATION OF THE ENGINE.

I used to work for these crooks for a good number of years and I know how they operate. They sell old parts, claiming to be reconditioned. And you can forget the warranty they give you because there is none! Customers who ring up demanding a refund are fobbed off, phone calls and emails are ignored. There is nothing positive to say about the company. They have got so many letters from trading standards and legal firms but they still don't take heed and will not back down until a courts summons is sent out to them. My advice, anyone who has been ripped off by these crooks should contact trading standards immediately and seek legal advice, trust me when a court date is set the company will refund you. They have already been reported to trading standards countless number of times and the more complaints trading standards receives, the more likely it is this company will get shut down so I urge you to report them asap. By the way, jap autos also own www.macc.com and a scrap yard on Bordesley Green Road Birmingham, stay well clear of them aswell or face losing more of your hard earned money at your peril. LOL!! Yes j4mou, thats exactly what I did! Just wanted to see just how much of a bad reputation they had! The company still owes me about a weeks worth of pay which I don't expect to get anytime soon!

Thanks for your comments - I live internationally and did some research on behalf of an elderly couple. I'm glad I'm not going to purchase a gearbox from them, it sounds like these people are nothing but trouble!
