well it was just supposed to be a simple rebuild of my ver3 sti but with forged rods and pistons but what happened was they stripped it down and alot of the parts were cack so the heads were retained and rebuilt then they had a p1 block and crank so they got machined acl race bearings eagle con rods wiseco pistons comp ratio changed to run better boost equal lenght hayward and scott headers with a 3inch straight thru exhaust from turbo back and they did it for a mint price to coz i always go to them already got a front mount walbro fuel pump etc only things that are still standard are turbo vf23 and injectors 440s which will be getting changed asap not sure what power itll make but think the turbo will be out of puff at 360bhp

vf23 will be out of puff at 320bhp i reckon, Sounds like you got a nice solid engine there, bet you cant wait for the big turbo and injectors next.

yeah but theres more to that than meets the eye lol scoobyboy the vf23 made 351 before my forged build so it wont be less than that however with it bein on its limit itll burn out quickly so best get saving for the fp green and 650 injectors sharpish
ps forgot to mention it has arp head bolts too lol

VF23 made 351bhp you sure its a vf23 and not a vf34 or vf35???? Didnt think that a vf23 would make that sort of power!!!! if so thats some impressive turbo!!!!

Didnt think you where lieing, Just that I thought vf23 turbo's where at there limit at 320-330, ive got a VF35 and from what others have got ive seen 330-340bhp, but I did once see 380bhp out of a vf35 at a rolling road day, so I guess sometimes you can get the right mods and make your turbo work that extra bit!!!!

Herro, some advice please from you veterans. The big ends went on my engine, needs either new engine for total rebuild I am told. Where can I get a non-dodgy engine, or rebuild done? Also, what did your rebuild cost mate? I have a standard v4 STi engine... or should I say. HAD /sob.
