Have you already modded this car or are you just thinking about it?
Personally (as with most people on here who understand these cars) you start with the brakes as the original ones (especially pre 99 models) suck (even the post 99 4 pots are not brill).

For the price, I would seriously think of upgrading the brakes on a classic
Oh and all the brakes were bedded in correctly before you ask
