Can someone tell me the best way to paint a second hand (genuine) bonnet scoop for a 05 wrx? Changing from blue to silver, also thinking about painting front lip spoiler (HTautos) satin black as polishing does'nt last long. Any advice welcome.

 

Hmm, it depends have you got the any experiance with painting? its pritty hard to colour match properly. i painted my own bonnet scoop but i have painted about 5 other things in the past. it's an easy job once you get used to it.

Painting something satin black is the easiest imo.

 

Satin black should be easy as long as any polish/silicone is removed fully before painting, just use a plastic primer. The scoop will be more difficult, particularly getting the correctly matched paint.
