Default newbie with a problem .......

hi just signed up to this forum , had a quick look round and it looks
i have a problem with my 52 plate bugeye wrx
when it is cold it is fine but after about 20 to 25 miles of driving (not hard) , i get a knocking from somwere underneith , you can feel it through the steering and when you turn it gets louder and more nasty
i have thought about it being a driveshaft ? propshaft ? or gearbox ?
could anyone help please cos at the moment i feel as though i am doing this

I would not like to say. Would recomend going to a garage asap. Have yout noticed any fluid leaking. Cannot really see it would be gearbox unless it is when you are changing gears.

Likely to be a bearing or CV joint. As Adam says, get it to someone who knows what their looking at.

Where are you based?

Dealers? Unless you have deep pockets eirther take it to a scooby specialist or local garage. You would be better off going local. Finding out whats up then sources your parts you need. Least that way you can choose what you are getting and dont end up paying for cheap tat as if it is premium parts.

Can't help you with that sorry but just wanted to say "Welcome"
Goodluck with that (I'd get it to a garage if you can't see anything obvious)
