I fancy changing the bonnet scoop on my 06 STi hawkeye, to the 04/05 Blobeye scoop, as I think its much nicer. Anyone know if it will fit, or are they different sizes??

Get someone to photo the bolt/mounting holes on a blob you should be able to notice the difference AND measure the distance from the any of the plastic clips underneath, manufacturers are unlikely to move mounting holes for trim unless absolutely necessary (it would be an extra production cost) !!! failin that arent there companys out there who make bigger scoops???

 

Cheers for that. In fact thinking about it a mate has a blob sti, so i'll have a look at his as well. Just wondering if anyone had done it.

is the blob / hawk scoop base size the same? is it the holes that dont match up?

what are the facts?

 

Blob scoop will not fit the hawk bonnet. The hole in the bonnet is a different shape.
