Default Help Needed

Hi Iv just bought an impreza 2.0 r.

Its a non turbo and is only about 150bhp.Is there anything that can be done to make it faster ie remap exhaust airfilter or would I be wasting my time?

If I was to get a custom exhaust put on it should it be loud and give that famous subaru grunt?

Thanks

You will get marginal improvements, But never anything that is going to transform it completely.
An aftermarket exhaust will make it louder, But again you will not get the same exhaust note as a Turbo version.

The Non turbo scoob is a very capable car, especially when rolling as the chasis/rolling gear are never really stressed due to the lower power, which means all the power can be used fruitfully as such

If your after big/bigger power gains then a Turbo version is the only real choice ...

thinks I didnt think there would be much to do to it as its not a turbo. Its only to keep me going for just now.Like the looks of the new ones so thought why not.I had a megane 225 before and there was a few different things for that but it was a turbo.Had to get rid of it though as the clutch was starting to slip and would have cost a fortune to replace.

First thing will be a nice set of 18s then might get an exhaust on it.
