Fer gods sakes, you guys got his address!! Unless you posted it in a PO Box addy, you shouldn't have any problem getting it back. Unless of course, he's actually on holiday and he unintentionally forgot to pay before he left.

I doubt anyone here on Scoobynet is of to rip off a fellow scooby owner. But then again I do live in an imaginary world where Mancurians actually support Manchester Utd.

This thread has been left as it has been, because it has not yet snowballed into something that involves a TOTAL OUT AND OUT slagging session.

May I suggest THAT ANY POSTERS on this thread bear this in mind before commenting, for Luke's sake at least. If the thread moves towards this kind of content, it will locked, or at the least the offending posts will be removed.

As Luke has already stated, he will not divulge personal details. I am sure that if ANYBODY wants to know information, they can contact Luke direct via email.

as you know where he lives, can't you send a letter by recorded delivery warning him that if payment is not received within 7 days, you will be involving the police/lawyers?

This thread is rediculous.

If someone hasnt paid you, go to the small claims court like everyone else has to. You have his address, you have no excuse not to.

Are you going to keep this bounced to the top for the next 10 years? Are you going to mail every supplier saying dont trust this guy? If you setup a group buy you are taking a risk and trusting someone. When you dont recieve the funds then you should go through the correct channels as set out in the society we live in.

The guy may not even bother to read scoobynet anymore.

 

Agree with John, the guy obviously has no intention of paying. Maybe best in future to get money off ppl firs before handing over any goods. Shame I know but there are some bad ppl around thee days.

Hi Chris, most people on here are fantastic, but like anywhere you get some who are not.

Posting this thread and keeping it to the top is a waste of time and is not what this BBS is about IMHO. Imagine the impact this could have on someone of the same name who just happened to start posting on here or even attended a meet. I know right now a lot of people dont have faith in the courts systems but the small claims court is actually one of the really successful parts of our judicial system and it isnt prohibitive for the average guy in the street to use.

If you want to see your money, use the small claims court, if you cant be bothered with that then say goodbye to your money.

I am sorry you have been taken advantage of Luke but posting this and keeping it on top is not the way to get some payment.
