Any ford fans ?
I know that i am not posting this on the correct site, but does anyone outhere know what a mark1xr3 1981 with 25000miles, 1 regestired keeper would be worth? As my Grandmother has one and has asked me to find out what it is worth. Any Ideas?

get a message up on a dedicated ford site matey, bet its worth a few quid, will be a collectable now due to the rarity, and your grandmothers even more so with 1 owner. good luck with it, hope you get a good price then your nan could get a scoob!!!!!!!

If it's absolutely mint and original there are people who would pay well into the 3k's for it. Condition 1 would be around 2600. Condition 2, around 1000. Rough, condition 3, you's be looking at 300 I reckon. These cars are moving in value though and prices are changing all the time.
Try the Practical Classics website - it's free and gets plenty of attention for old Fords in particlular.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the replys lads. The car has always lived in a heated garage and is in better condition than my impreza. There is no rust on it at all and has never bin tweeked or fiddled with. The worst thing i can think of on it from an enthusiasts point of veiw is that she had the radio taken out because she was worried somone might break in for it

I bought 2 of these back in 1981. I must have been mad to repeat the mistake
There will always be interest from those who like a particular car. My advice is to move it on as quickly as possible and breathe a sigh of relief that you don't have to drive it!
