Question

Does anybody know of any problems associated with fitting an atmospheric dump valve instead of a recirculating one? I have heard rumours of over-run and running too lean on the fuel (not good!).

Come on people, don't be shy! I am going to buy a new dump valve and would like some input before ordering.

Wuz - at Autosport show a nice man from Prodrive answered my question about the same..... he said dont do it cos the MAF sensor dont like it... to get a turbo to spin up quicker a decat and system works better....... but then some people on the bbs run dump to atmos valves and have had no problems..... take the risk v dont take the risk the choice is yours...
