bungs baffles an performace
hi all
Love the noise my scoob makes around town an when im having a proper drive.
However on longer journeys the drone an boom is getting tiresome. The novelty has worn off.
Its got a sports catted down pipe decat centre an a ninja 1 back box on it.
Would an exhaust tip bung cut the noise on the motorway as above 80 odd mph you have to almost shout to be heard by passengers. I know bungs are removable.
Would a mid section silencer sliced onto the centre section help.
Would I loose alot of power with both?
please help my ears

I sometimes use the bung on my afterburner back box, and it does cut alot of the noise and make journeys easier. The only thing is, even being held in with 2 screws, it tries to remove itself and ends up making a weird noise as the exhaust gases escape through the gaps. I have been advised not to floor it with the bung in, although surley at 80 odd mph the same problem would apply.
