Question Oil Cooler???

Hi, I'm after some advice please.

I have a 2005 STI Type UK with TSL 333 upgrade. I want to do some track days without worrying about oil temps and am wondering if the standard modine oil cooler is up to the job or if I should get an after market oil cooler kit?

Thanks in advance...

Standard one is up to the job if you were doing the dakkar rally then i would say you needed an uprated one

Off topic sorry.
I have a TSL 333 also, haven't had it for long How do you find yours to drive? mines got lots of mid range grunt in quite a narrow power band its very fun, whats yous like?
Have you got any gauges in it, so at least you have an rough idea?

Mine was fine at around that power figure, now I have a TMOC and I'm back on track next month.

Ha ha no Dakkar rally's.
Mine was fitted when I bought the car but yes I am happy with it. Good midrange and a reasonable power band. No gauges fitted at the moment but it might be an idea to get some so I can keep an eye on things.
Suspension and brakes have been uprated so just need to make sure the engines up to it now.
I like the look of your TMOC though dunx!!!

Hi peeps, Dunx - thats some nice oil cooler you got there also got a few questions for you if alright? Did you notice oil temps drop down sugnificatly after the TMOC install? if so how much by? also i have a TSL v7 STI car running 345bhp but its got a FMIC & i have blocked off the TMIC air vent - do you think i could squeeze a similar oil coorler else where on the car with out to open up the TMIC air vent again? perhaps one side of the rad air vent?? any answers back would be great!
cheers
Tim
