Painting over chrome
Ok, now don't laugh.
I have an old 1980 Diamond Back BMX that I want to paint a candy red colour, problem is the current finish is original old school chrome and it's in pretty much mint condition.
I know it's difficult to apply paint to chrome without sanding, keying, etc but it doesn't need to be done to a finish that's going to be riden, only built up.
I understand there is a bonding agent that can be applied to chrome without damaging it, but also need a recommendation as to which candy spray, so someone could suggest anything?
I know I'm asking a lot here but that's life. LOL
Cheers
Mark
PS - I miss my Scooby and if you want to see OS-DB check out OS-DB.net old school diamond back
