Just traded in an Audi S3 for the new Sti prodive. Noticed there is little paint (i.e white) round the inside door hinges and inside the fuel cover. You don't notice it unless you look hard but it's not something i found on the Audi, can't remember it on my old my98. Is this standard Subaru quality.

Yes it is. You should also expect to start hearing rattles and squeaks within the next 3000 miles (in my experience). It ain't exactly German build quality thats for sure.
Still, it's an improvement over the previous generation.

They all come with white you know give it a good rub and you may just find that its actually the wax that they seal the car with

Cool

Are you sure its not grease from the hinges?

Everytime my car goes in for a service it comes back with white grease on all the hinges.

Roberf,

Just out of interest, what did you make of the S3 as I'm
considering getting one.

Cheers,

JR
