Default FRONT MOUNT INTERCOOLERS

IS IT WORTH FITTING A FRONT MOUNT INTERCOOLER TO MY CLASSIC WILL I NOTICE ANY DIFFERENCE OR IS IT JUST SIMPLY TO STOP MY ENGINE GOING BANG WITH THE COOLER AIR ???

Depends on what power your going to tune it to. No point if its just standard

You need a remap when you fit the intercooler if not you will have lost of turbo lag.

You'll get lag even with a map.Cooler inlet temps and made mine a lot smoother running...oh and the extra chatter sound did make it worth it too.

BUT yes you do need a remap if your going to fit one and i wouldn't bother unless your running 300+

If the intercooler kit is properly designed and manufactured, then with proper mapping there will be no more appreciable lag unless there are underlying issues.
