Default 07 MY stereo in an 05 car?

Hi, i find it a bit odd they where still sticking tape players in 05 cars but any way, i've been offered a unit from an 07 car, could anyone confirm this unit will play mp3's and will it pop stright into my 05 dash. One more thing, the guy has removed it all ready and allthough working fine in his car he has no code for it, does it need one and if so can it be re set?

If you just want a good quality relativity cheap double-din unit that will play cd's, mp3's and wma's and has bluetooth etc have a look at the Pioneer FH-P80BT

As already said, I think you will find the 07 and 05 are the same.

cheers guys,i'd go for an all in one double din touch screen with sat nav but once you stick the nav onto the units they double in price, strange when a stand alone sat nav is so cheepJust wont to be able to bang an mp3 into it so i'll buy and after market unit like said.
