Two of my cars have front LSDs.
Only worthwhile when you have so much power that the inside front wheel starts to scrabble for grip when you are giving it beans, unless of course you regularly drive on loose surfaces or wet grass and need to be able to pull yourself out of a ditch or something.
Big application on a rally car. Less important on a road car unless you have traction issues because of the power you have. Great in the snow but that causes problems as you can accelerate to silly speeds for the conditions and then realise just how long it takes to shed speed.

I got one
Came with the car... (Jap import)
What do I notice? Clonking noise at low speed and max lock or setting off from standstill with some lock. Also notice a good deal less u/steer and pull through tight corners. Negated the need for an ALK

Mine has one as standard too ! Suretrac IIRC.
When new it was very noticeable on tight cambered corners, but I guess they wear and it's almost un-noticeable now despite 400 bhp.....
