Everytime I go up to the Highlands (which ended up being quite a few times last year) I see *loads* of Scoobies - obviously the transport of choice for the discerning outdoor persuits participant

So...I'm going to be in Fort Bill skiing (weather permitting ) over the weekend 9/10/11 March, should I be keeping an eye out for any of you lot??

Steve

Cool

You want to get up here now, the conditions are about perfect.
I am only 1/2 an hour from Glenshee and every time i have been up this year there has been at least 10 other scoobys in the carpark.

You dont want to be skiing though, snowboarding is where its at!!!

Too late to come to Fort William just now as snow is melting and wind blowing a gale. Worry may be that the base is melting and may knacker it for the rest of the season.
Will certainly cut down on the number of Golf GTi's driving through the town like idiots though.
If you need a report on the skiing give me a shout as I live in Fort W.

The last time i went up to the lecht ski centre - the final stretch up to the top of the hill where the centre is was all slippery.
All the 2wd's kept getting stuck half way up. So , they made it so only 4wd's could use the road. Out of a group of 18-20 vehicles , 5 were scoobs the rest landrovers - fantastic!

Col - Boading??? Pah!!! You'll grow out of it one day...

Alas - That's a bit worrying about the base going, but on past experience I'll wait and see. Over the last 5 years we've always managed to get at least one reasonable days skiing in a long weekend, but there's always the Malt if it all goes pear shaped! Maybe mail you nearer the time for latest picture?

Hos - Cooool! I passed by the Lecht last November when we had the early snow, and there were 3 Scoobs and a Legacy in the car park then. I was gutted I didn't have my gear with me at the time.
