carl: i only speak english - do you think that will be a problem
Even voorstellen: de nieuwe Subaru Impreza WRX AWD... "
Havent got a clue what that is all about - so not to confident about going any further with it.

FreeT -- just phone up Gertjan (or HHHHHhhhhhhhhertyan ) on +31 18 666 1556. He speaks English well (well, better than I speak Dutch). Most people in Holland speak English -- there are only 14 million of them so most of the rest of the world doesn't speak Dutch. (And don't order a green one -- he thinks only farmers order green ones).

... European imported WRX MY02, who should I speak to?
Does anyone have companies they would recommend?
Any websites I should check out?
Any particular delears I should consider?
What's the current wait? Anyone wanting to cancel their current order?
Any help appreciated.
Thanks
Andy

Sept 01 got MY01 BBM WRX from Virgincars.com .. Pre-sales great .. After sales pants .. Good price though ...
3 yr warranty & good alarm/immob.
They really need to improve their customer relations . Took 4 months to get GB on number plates (after I was promised they would come delivered with car !)

Cheers Andy Mate!
BTW Clare says you cant afford it you have got to buy a house, and then when you have kids you have to have a sensible car!
I shall have to educate her in this!

Andy,
If you want a UK import company then I would go nowhere other than Litchfields (though United Motors seem extremely competitive (far better than Virgin) or if going direct, speak to Gertjan van der Velde (gj_velde@wish.net) in Rotterdam as he seems to be the cheapest Dutch dealer (and I recommend Holland as the place to buy an import direct).

Andy, I got my MY00 from Gertjan van der Velde and would thoroughly recommend him if you go direct. If you want to use an importer, I've had a couple of chats with Iain Litchfield and he has some very good deals. Check him out.

If you want the best price then www.keyring-cars.co.uk were cheapest for me (recently). They also have short order cars cheaper than the long wait from Virgin etc. They only deal with subaru so should get the spec etc. right.
They use garage troch, but I can't find their URL, maybe a direct approach if you fancy.
Happy hunting.

Hi Andy,
When I ordered from Alain Knockaert, he had a spec code that he entered to ensure that the car is a full UK spec.

Andy, what I did when I ordered by MY00 was e-mail all the dealers in the Rotterdam area:
dealers
Giving the spec of what I was looking for, I got 10-15 replies which gave me a good idea of the price to expect.
In the end I went with: Cito Automobielbedrijf B.V. and couldn't have been happier. I conducted everything via fax, the first time I spoke to them was when I phoned from the railway station so they could send someone around to collect me (removes any possible language problems). One of the sales staff was heading home when I was leaving, so I got to follow him to the port
Any queries just give us a shout (i've still got copies of everything, including the faxes).

Ok, call me lazy, but a few questions on Litchfields:
1. Where are they located? I see Litchfield is the guys name rather than where its located (or is it both). As I assume they import and you drive up to them and pick it up.
2. What sort of prices are they offering on the standard WRX 4dr at the moment i.e. are people going to them for price or service or a combination of both?
Cheers,
Simon

Carl - lol - maybe i am a farmer!!
but i'm not, narrowed it down to 3
- silver - shows marks less / understated
- blue mica - looks good / loads about
- dark blue - is best when polished / bugger to keep clean
Difficult, had different cars in these types of colours, but this one i'll have for a while. - a long while i hope.
