Exhaust Heat Wrap
Hi all -
i recently fitted the Ninja sports cat to my 53 WRX and im struggling to refit the heat sheilds around the turbo and downpipe. after a 10min run there is quite some heat build up around this area and around the brake and clutch master cyls. has anyone wrapped there downpipe with exhaust heat wrap ?? if so was it benificial and where did u buy it from ??

HI mate I looked into this a lot and decided to wrap mine. It only takes 10 minutes to do if the pipe is not fitted to the car, plus the old cat/pipe had shielding around it so its a form of insulation so don't take 1 step forward and 2 steps back.
If you are noticing heat build up in the engine bay I would say its a must.
I got mine from a guy called Harvey who uses this site, he is very friendly and full of helpful info, word of warning tho its not cheap but my motto is buy cheap but twice .
