The STI has a shorter throw and closer input than a WRX. I imagine that you could make it shorter still though, but its pretty close ratio as it is

If you can get it for less than £180 do it !

I fitted a GFB quickshift to mine and it's really "tight" fore and aft, but still has the same width across the gate, so finding gears is easy, just needs a firmer shove... mine is a UK STI and didn't have one as standard.

Funny I was thinking about buying a short shifter. I had a B&M shift in my WRX and loved the shorter travel on the stick.

I personally think the 6 Speed throw has way to much to travel. I've noticed this even more since upgrading the power.

I thought TSL did these kits but cannot find anything on there website.

Only the Spec C's had a quick shift as standard, personally I would buy it

No the standard STI does not come with a short shift..Mine is a WRX STI Type UK and has the Factory option shorter shift (I have the original in the bos the short one came with) it make it a lot more precice..

Well worth it, although expensive new..
