Default Courier for an Impreza bumper please?

Hello all. I have someone on here willing to sell me a rear bumper and two rear lights. All settled on a price however can't find a courier at a decent print.

They need to come from Yorkshire to Kent. I know there are a lot of couriers out there, but the problem is the take parcels of up to 1.5m. But the bumper is slightly longer than that and the quotes are only slightly short of ridiculous.

Can anyone recommend a courier or delivery method? I notice those selling on ebay quote around the £20 to £25 mark.

IIRC when I posted the top half of a P1 spoiler only FedEx would take it due its size (cost £150!). It was going to the states but even so within the UK it was hard to find anyone that would take something so long (Fnar Fnar)

Try UK Courier Services | Parcel Delivery | DHL, FedEx and City Link you can get an online quote with the dimensions. You'll get a surcharge as it's over 1.5m but they're really good.

Thank you for the responses. Do you think they will measure the parcel? I mean 170cm isn't far off 150cm is it?

I work for City link and we wouldn't take it unless you have an account, sorry don't do one offs. Parcelforce are pants and won't take anything over 1.3M even though they say 1.5m.

My advice is to find a freight forwarder in your area and call them as they use a number of couriers to get the cost down. Concorde Logistics and City Sprint are 2 that are Nationwaide.

I shipped a Mugen bumper for Integra last year for £15.75 with interparcel, bloody massive bumper too as it has a full under tray!

Thanks again for all responses. I'll see what the seller thinks of them. Most of them ask for the dimensions and weight of the package, but I only really know the length. Looks like the interparcel one the more packages you add the cheaper it gets in total???
