Have you driven Classic and Newage cars? I'd narrow down your search by choosing which era you are after. Once that is done JDM or UK? WRX or STI? Blobeye or Bugeye? Standard or modded? WR1 or P1? There are lots to choose from. I'm sure you get the picture!!! Whichever you go for, best of luck and most importantly, enjoy. Bob

when i brought mine 3 weeks ago from showells in west midlands they had a silver 2004 sti. was reduced to £9500 even though the website said £12000 so a bit of haggling would have got it for £9k. when i collected my car the week later it was sold and gone.

if it wasn't for the extra insurance and the colour etc i would have had it instead of my wrx

Not that much £100 for the spoiler + paint etc i think depends on what spoiler and who's painting it. It's a nice car.

Depends mate sti is quicker but some prefer the wrx because it's normally a bit cheaper.

Nope not at all, I love my WRX and that's having owned much quicker cars the subaru is the best allround by far, it's so usable and easy to live with. Good luck with the search anyway mate you should get a good blobeye for that money or a nice modified bugeye.
