but the box im taking off is in perfect working order, how much are these worth. all i know its a long ratio box. and the fact its a uk

Depends if it is a post or pre 98 box
If it is a 98 onwards a TY754 VN - then more in demand.
About 500 from a breakers About 400ish privale sale (untested)
I was offered one for 300
If it is a TY752 then worth less as a weaker box.
