Default 2006 sti resonator?

hi, need a bit of advice please, car completely standard, everything great but just to quiet, i dont want nothing to loud but do want to hear some of that classic burble from the exhaust, would it help getting resonator changed out for a cat back straight through center section but keep standard sti backbox. ive seen one on scoobyworld for £93 is that about right price, and would this give me what im looking for?
not a lot of money spare as most gone on buying car and ins.

Be Careful changing the resonated section it can create cabin noise and a sort of booming.
I bought a second hand prodrive back box for my 2006 STI, not to loud.
If its just the sound you are after I recommend to change the back box, If you post up that you are after one I'm sure one will pop up

not much diff really i sold my vortex as too loud and ran the standard sti box with deres centre and it still sounded standard lol

bought a hayward and scott group n style similar to the prodrive nice lil burble crusing about but nice roar on a blast, you will pick a prodrive bb up for newage on ebay for around £100 and easy to fit two bolts and 3 rubbers takes half an hour

I swapped over to a PP backbox on my 06 WRX and there was a difference but not as much as I was looking for, could not hear anything from inside the cabin, next went and purchased the centre section from scoobyworld and what a difference, the 2 together are perfect for me and not boomy or lound on the Mway.

Thanks

Makes some difference but not huge amounts on the MY06STi. Made more difference on my 53WRX. If you want more burble you need to change your Back Box really. NurSpec S isn't intrusive and will be even less intrusive with the centre resonator still fitted.
