Spots of rust have started to appear on my S/S box(around the tailpipe), has anyone else had this problem? Not sure how serious it is as it may polish off but just wondered if this was normal.

 

If its a Scoobysport there is nothing to rust, its all Stainless Steel !!!!!If its not a scoobysport, are you sure its stainless ?

It wont be rust from the exhuast, but could be from the crap that gets kicked up off the road at this time of year.

Give it a clean with something like Turtle Wax Extreme Wheel cleaner and I'm sure this will be the last you'll see of it.

It's normal. T-Cut is good for polishing it up.

 

I've used the Autoglm Metal Cleaner once or twice on it and it comes up like new!!!

I too have noticed two rust spots appeared on the end of my ss tailpipe. Will try to polish it off tommorow but definitely looks like rust to me. It did worry me when i saw it as the exhaust is only a week old
