Default plz help will this fit

will this fit on my uk classic also would it be easy to install and setup?
syms boost and fuel control system
made be trecs comes with

- boost and fuel unit
- piggy bac computer
- plugs and wiring

taken out of a 96 sti

Mate i doubt it that unit in the pic is a 4 plug which is 96 and previous and your saying your motor isa 98 which uses a 3 plug setup.

So based on the info you've given i would say it's a no.

do you know who extracted it all?they will probably have a good idea how the system go`s back in.if not either a good auto electrician or contact scoobyclinic they may be able to help.

well my car is 1995 but has a 1998 version 4 uk spec engine i think the person i bought it off converted every think 2 version 4
my engine

The chances are the 98 engine was adapted to the 95 loom so, maybe.
Check how many plugs your ECU has got, then get back to us.

i dont think the loom is 95 as the car origanally started life as a 2.0 gl but not any more

I'd double check anyway if I were you. As said putting a 98 loom in a 95 wouldn't of been easy...

well its got facelift front and rear bumpers facelift grill bonnet seats dash centre consel the lot so wireing would have been easy if doing the dash and everythink

Sounds like a ringer to me

It's more than likely got a 3 plug ecu then mate, so no won't fit

i gave subaru main dealer the reg and they said a few hundred gl was took back 2 japan and turbo converted

Your dealer is talking bollocks!

There are some imports over here that got registered as a GL but none were sent back for a conversion.
