Just got my STI.
Just bought my first Subaru. I went for a 2004 STI that is absolutely mint.
I paid £10K for it but last year it had about £5K spent on modifications with a service history that is in my opinion over the top i.e after one year it was serviced after 800 miles. But now for my question - is the standard CD/radio any good? Can you get away with just changing the speakers as it sounds a bit cr*p.......or do I have to get a new head-unit as well?
ABSOLUTELY loving the car, wasn't prepared for the fuel bill but never mind it sure is worth it!!! Much faster than my Cozzie & handles better!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cheers Lads

i changed the head unit on both my impreza's, that kenwood double din is crap imho. Who still uses tapes in their car in 2005
I just bought a cheap single din one from halfords for about £150. Can put usb sticks in it with loads of music stored on. Its the noise of the car i listen to most so was never gonna spend loads of money on one.
