Default VIN / Chassis number

Could someone describe to me where i would find the loaction of the vin / chassis number on a 98 classic please. And which part is the actual vin / chassis number as i think there has been a mix up with my mot.

I have located the plate but which number is the actual vin number as there are a few on there

Its the number that matches the one stamped on the driverside scuttle panel, just above brake master cylinder.

cheers mate, thats what i was after. It all matches up. Just the wrong numbers been put on mot certificate. So need to get that sorted asap.
